As a favor for a friend, I need to find pointers to a good book on the Mac.
I remember having read *somewhere* that there were some good and some bad
books out there, and I was wondering which ones any of you had experience
with, and would either recommend obtaining, and which you would recommend
avoiding. My friend plans to obtain the book to mail to his friend in
Japan, where they are having trouble getting good references. Please
mail me replies, as I don't have a Mac myself (or anything else but
a terminal, I'm a poor graduate student and must use our lab's VAX) and,
consequently, don't read net.micro.mac regularly. Thanks in advance,
