[net.micro.mac] Beware Dialectix vt52 DA

dtw@cmu-cs-k.ARPA (Duane Williams) (05/20/85)

This little DA occasionally goes into repeat-random-character-forever
mode. This behavior occurs when you somehow access a disk drive, e.g., by
inserting a disk into a drive or by trying to eject a disk. It can happen
when a resource file is accessed also.

Even when the program appears to run without error and is terminated
normally, it leaves the Mac in a ready-to-crash state. It is a good idea to
reboot the Mac after running the vt52 DA.
