The ants from the spinning wheel have developed space travel and
one has happened too close to a very large black hole and is being
pulled in.
The radius of the black hole is large enough so tidal forces will
not kill the ants in the ship.
Question 1: What effects, if any, will the ants notice as they enter
the black hole? Both effects on the portion of the ship in front of
them and behind them are in question.
Question 2: Since any message sent FROM the ship will be red-
shifted out of existance as it enters the hole will messages TO the
ship be blue-shifted to infinite frequency?
