A couple of words of warning about the DA's recently posted. Neither the
Scientific Calculator nor the Financial Calculator seem to work under
finder 4.1. Both bomb with ID=02. The symptom is the same whether or not
I'm running a Ramdisk (128K equivalent or full fat mac), so there seems to
be a problem with them and the new system stuff. (sigh).
Also, the Show Key Caps DA doesn't work well with applications that have
a number of menu items that is greated (I think...) than the finder. It
works with both finders and macpaint, but it will happily crash both
Macterminal and Macwrite. Not being able to use it in Macwrite is a pain.
I think it is because they made an assumption on the placement on the menu
bar and it tries to eat a menu event that should go to the application
when they collide, but not having source I can't be sure. Either way, be
very wary of using it in anything but the finder or macpaint.
