Is adultery an atrocity? Well, I guess you could call it that if you really wanted to be strict. I am pretty liberal, and though my repetoire of thinkable acts generally does not include adultery, I certainly am capable of it, and would not feel guilty about it, let alone consider it an atrocity. This is not to say that I would do it without hesitation. Certainly not. But if a man and a woman are separated, but not divored, making love to that woman is technically adultery. Atrocity?
