What a nerd. The bug I reported is not a bug - those two hunks
of code do very different things. My apologies to all: I was in
the 3am zone when I wrote the code, and was still waking up when I
wrote the prereview.
Working on a new bug report now... This one should be much more
entertaining and hard to isolate. I'll save the full report on it
for the real review since I'm sort of on the edge of the zone again
now.
