[net.micro.mac] Hints on editing for future LaserWr

Just a couple of notes on the TTimes tip for drafts of Laserwriter
  output on the Imagewriter.

First. With the new Font/DA Mover it is not necessary to remove the
old Times font from the system you are installing TTimes in. The Font/DA
Mover will replace the old Times font with the new TTims. This is one way
of updating those fonts required by the system as well.

Second. The font TTimes will not give you "what you see is what you
get" output on the Imagewriter or screen when you print the final output on
a Laserwriter. The reason for this is that the substituuted fonts will have
different character widths than the Laserwriter's Times font. I think this
was aluded to in the original artical but the dangers should be made clear.
If you use a "fake" Laserwriter font like TTimes you will still have to do
your final formatting and page layout in the standard Tims font.

Another way to do this is to reformat the page size to the Laserwriter
output and print in the Tall Adjusted mode. With this manner of printing I
find the standard Laserwriter Times font to be totaly acceptable for proof
reading in both the high quality and draft modes. This also eliminates the
final pass to do the reformatting if you use a "fake" Laserwriter font.
