[net.micro.mac] Printing WORD documents

For any of you IBM'ers or Mac'ers who have Microsoft WORD here is a question
whose answer has escaped me all weekend long. I have a document which is
broken up into what are essentially chapters. Each of the chapters is set
up so that its page numbering scheme begins at one. Using the RUNNING HEAD
feature I am able to get the page numbers to show up as 2-1 or 6-4. These
would be the first page of chapter two and the fourth of chapter six, re-
spectively. Now the problem.

It seems that when I tell WORD that I want to reprint a specific page in
the document that its printing sequence is not global. That is to say, if
chapter one contains 6 pages only, specifying that the seventh page be
printed does NOT get me the first page of the second chapter. INSTEAD it
appears that WORD looks for the first chapter that has a page 7 and prints

THAT page!

As you might guess this makes selected printing of portions of some chapters
almost impossible. I got around the problem somewhat by erasing from memory
all of the document prior to the first page of the chapter inin which
I had some interest, but this method is still not precise enough.

Any good suggestions out there? I am running WORD on a Mac512K.
