[net.micro.mac] Epson <-> Mac interfacing?

I'm posting this for a friend.  Does anyone know the best way to hook an
Epson printer to a Macintosh?  The options that we've heard about so far
include:

    EPSTART: software.  A salesperson said that this worked very poorly.
                                $49.95
    an interface board : Apple  $129
    MacEnhancer box : by Microsoft
    Macintosh-Epson connection : software package by Hayden Software
    Mac Epson connection : software package by The Bottom Line $69.88

Any information on these or other products (how well do they work, etc.)
would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
