#N:esquire:4300001:000:187 esquire!nrh Sep 10 20:34:00 1982 In "Lord Valentine's Castle" by Robert Silverberg, one of the characters is able to juggle with his eyes closed. Can anyone tell me if this is possible for more than one or two catches?

I just got a copy of "Lord Valentine's Castle", but haven't had a chance
to read it yet. Yes, blind juggling is possible. I don't work on it
very often, but I can do a forward three ball cascade for about 15
throws with my eyes closed. It requires a total blocking out of
distractions such as music and talking, so that you can visualize the
pattern. The pattern should be low and fluid. A 'natuaral' rhythm
is a good way to discribe it.
It's nice to know there are some more jugglers out there!
