Microsoft has begun mailing out letters to the owners of Multiplan/Chart in- forming them of an upgrade policy that allows them to purchase Excel for a payment of $100. Along with the letter containing this information is a brochure describing the product. Here are a few excerpts: "Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet.
