We are using a couple of 512k Macintoshes for several purposes.
But we have some very large Pascal programs (> 7000 lines)
running on other machines in the house and we intend to transfer
these programs to our Macs.
So now our problem is that we only have the Macintosh Pascal
from Apple (an interpreter) and it probably will not be capable
to execute those huge programs satisfactorily. Due to other more
urgent jobs, we have not experimented very much upon the subject.
But we like to hear about your experience with Pascal for the Mac
(UCSD Pascal or what ever is available). What about:
reliability?
Speed (compiling and execution)
Access to the toolbox?
Documentation?
Ability to handle huge programs?
or what ever you think is worth knowing.
By the way, any "hot news" on MacWorks for the Mac? It is rumoured
that it may come.
Thank you in advance
