I would like to upload some of the nicer tidbits from net.sources.mac to a bbs that I'm a member of. I'd like to do it without having to first download the stuff to my mac using macput and then sending it on to the bbs. Does anybody have any ideas on how this can be done? I tried using cu to call the bbs and then running macput using ~+ (a feature in HDB that runs a comand with stdin(stdout) from(to) the remote system) with no success (macput times out). Any suggestions are welcome. Marsh Gosnell lzma!mkg

Instead, use umodem. Most BBS's do support it in its more usual varieties. -- Ephraim Vishniac [apollo, bbncca, cadmus, decvax, harvard, linus, masscomp]!wanginst!vishniac vishniac%Wang-Inst@Csnet-Relay
