[net.micro.mac] Help with menu-defproc wanted.

Help.  I wrote a menu defproc.  It works fine.  But when ever I
actually select an item the menu reverts to a vanilla text menu.
Does anybody know if I this is a well known feature?   ben hyde, cambridge.
