gobblegobblegobblegobblegobbleetc............. In a few months (November, supposedly) we will be moving to a new location. At our new location we are already having three or four Appletalk networks installed to connect all of our Macs (and a few of those other PCs). I've seen people referring to gateways that appear to have been implemented to connect several Appletalk networks together. I'd like to know more about these, because we want to hook our networks together as soon as possible. I've seen references to 'SEAGate' before. Is this gateway a marketed product or a home-grown system somewhere? Are there any marketed gateway products? I've seen ads in Macworld for a gateway hook-up to an SNA network from TriData. While this would help with one of our needs, our more immediate need is for a gateway that will bring our Appletalk networks together and possibly allow hook-ups into a Micom switch (which gives us access into UNIX and our IBM machines). Does anyone have anything like this around? Also, if anyone has experience with the TriData product, I'd be interested in hearing what you think about it. Thanks in advance for any info you can give.
