I'm looking for the HP12c desk accessory. Does anyone have any information on it? (If so, send me mail at ...!dartvax!merchant) If it's in the public domain, if you could send me a binhex4.0 version, that would be nice. -- "Maybe tonight you'll fall in love again" Peter Merchant

The HP12c DA is a product (repeat PRODUCT) sold by Dreams of the Phoenix. The author (a friend) and DotP will get very upset at this. The list price is 39.95 but it is availble from mail order houses at 29.

The HP12cDA is, according to another message, copyrighted. However, there is now a package called "Custom Calculator Construction Set" which provides you with a bin of Mac control buttons, calculator bodies and math routines, and lets you "roll your own" calculator by pointing & clicking the controls, etc into place. Maybe this would allow you to make what you want. I have no idea how complex you can make the calculator, but have been told that you can indeed rise above the toy calculator class. The two best things: The software costs $49.95 Any calculator desk accessory you build may be distributed without any licensing or royalty arrangement. from Electronic Arts 2755 Campus Drive San Mateo, CA 94403 (415) 571-7171 Disclaimer: This is not my employer talking -- in fact, I didn't say this either. -- Rick Keir -- MicroComputer Information Center, Rm 3130 MACC 1210 West Dayton St/U Wisconsin Madison/Mad WI 53706 {allegra, ihnp4, seismo}!uwvax!uwmacc!sumacc (OR) uwvax!uwmacc!rick
