Has anybody written a way to produce MacDraw files on an Imagen Plotter? It seems like it would be a handy gadget. Since PICT is a fairly neutral data format, one could write a PICT to Imagen filter. Has anybody tried it? Does anybody have an interest for such a beast? If so, I might be talked into writing a filter, since I could use it once in a while. I am interested in uploading a drawing from my Mac to work, where they have an Imagen. I am *not* thinking of writing a driver for the Imagen on the Mac. -- Terry Morse (408)743-1487 { seismo!nsc!cae780 } | { sun!sunncal } !leadsv!morse

How about a PICT to PIC transformer. One of the main uses of the 3b2s we have around here is to generate pic files using a 'cip' program on the 5620. I would like to use MacDraw in the same capacity. Dan LaLiberte liberte@uiucdcs.Uiuc.ARPA ihnp4!uiucdcs!liberte

Textware International makes a package called Tplus which does ditroff pre/postprocessing for a variety of output devices. The graphics option allows you to handle pic, and to include bitmaps into the troff. I don't have their exact mail path with me, but it's something like ihnp4!seismo!harvard!textware!{bb or brent ?). -- ## Bill Stewart, AT&T Bell Labs, Holmdel NJ 1-201-949-0705 ihnp4!ho95c!wcs
