[net.micro.mac] questions on ExperLisp

neil@sdcsvax.UUCP (Neil Rhodes) (10/06/85)

I just bought a copy of ExperLisp and have a couple of questions for
any of you who may be using it.

1) (apropos "") reveals the presence of a function named Macintalk,
along with what look like other related ones. Trying to invoke it
reveals that it needs two arguments, one of which must be a "locative".
What is a locative. I know that locativep will tell me whether or not
I have one, and I assume that makeloc makes one (the latter is presented
in an assembly language example in the manual, but not mentioned at
all in the reference section)

2) Is there any way for users to access the object orientation?

3) have you played with any other undocumented functions?

4) how can I find out the location of my pen once I have moved it?

Thanks,
