Has somebody out there successfully run FileVision with switcher? I can get it to run ok with the default 128K partition, but if I try to configure it first, it tells me to "Insert the original FileVision Disk". It seems that Switcher writes a SIZE resource to the disk (even if you select "Temporary" in the config screen) and this destroys the copy-protection info. The change appears to be permanent - it wouldn't accept my disk as an original FileVision disk again. Another nasty - while it was asking for the original disk, it ignored mouse clicks so I couldn't even get back to Switcher. It would be really nice if I could cancel the disk-swap request; just as well I *had* an original FileVision disk to insert (thank you Copy II Mac). I was using Switcher 4.4, and the UK version of FileVision. I don't know whether to report this to Telos or Apple; maybe I should do both. -- Sak Wathanasin, U of Sussex, Cognitive Studies, Falmer, Sussex BN1 9QN, UK uucp:...mcvax!ukc!cvaxa!sakw arpa/janet: sakw%svga@uk.ac.ucl.cs
