If you have a hard disk or frequently use a RAM disk you may want to think twice about buying Deluxe Music Construction Set from "Electronic Arts". If the application is started and the master disk is not in either floppy drive, the system crashes with a Deep Shit Alert Box that does not have the RESUME button enabled. I called Electronic Arts today and they said that this is the expected function. I asked them to enable the RESUME button and have it return to the Finder. They were pleasant and helpful and said that they would pass the suggestion on to the developers. My objection to their current function is not that the software is protected (I have grown to expect that) but that accidental opening a DMCS document will crash the system with no recourse. -John A. Wasser P.S. If anyone out there remembers how to enable the RESUME button and make it return to the Finder, I would appreciate the information (via MAIL if long, Phone if short).
