I would just like to know how you would color on the Macintosh. The only restriction is that it allows the current software interface to still work. I'm curious as to just what kind of methods could be used. As far as I know there is no "official" way that it will be done. Inside Macintosh only refers to a current forecolor and backcolor and maximum of 32 bits/planes per pixel. I think that limitation is only because the parameters already allocated are that big, not that they actually do anything with the parameters.
