My brother, who is in the 11th grade, wants to do an extra- credit project for his physics class. The project is to build a "car" powered only by the spring action of a mousetrap. The car must have at least two wheels. No other restrictions are imposed. Sometime around Dec. 1, all the students who choose to do this project will bring their cars to class, and the teacher will stage a contest in the hall to see whose car will go the farthest.
