I am having a great deal of difficulty to get the Rmaker to work for my application. The problem is when I run my resource file I do not get any error but what happens is the rmaker changes the definition of some of the resources randomly. It specially happens around my UserItem dialog controls. I could not figure out how I can fix this problem. I hate to redo the whole thing by writing a resources creation routine. It defeats the purpose of resources if I do so. Have you had similar problems? and would you please tell me how to get aroound it. I am using the Rmaker which comes with MegaMax version 2.1 Is Apple out there listening? Maybe you have some solution? Thanks a lot for any helps. --Abbas

Last I looked, UserItems were *not* supported by RMaker. I too had a
similar problem with UserItems in RMaker. Having MDS I just wrote it
in ASM and patched it in with ResEdit. The reason I didn't use
ResEdit to do it totally is I don't like the way the new ResEdit
handles Dialogs. There are times I want to add DLOG and DITL items
textually (and not graphically) and those capabilities have vanished
with the new versions of ResEdit :-(.
