[net.micro.mac] cracks

hal@ecsvax.UUCP (Hal Hunnicutt) (11/04/85)

Here are some program cracks for various Macintosh applications.
I have tried the ones for the Quest and Macintosh Pascal. You
may have to piddle with various files that contain bad data
markers etc in order to be able to copy the disks from the finder.
Poke, explore, enjoy...

 Hmmmmm. Seems to me that this kind of thing is slightly innappropriate
for the net. Besides, Sonny would never condone it. And by the way,
there is no need to 'beat' "Griffon Terminal"(sic), since it isn't copy-
protected any more.

Do what he says (using FEDIT), but only change the FIRST ocuurance of
the byte pattern in each case [ *EXCEPT* in block 521, where you change
the first and SECOND]. Hope this helps someone!

  This concerns the difference in length of the replacement bytes.
  Should the above noted bytes (^^^^) be NULL filled? Just making
  sure!

  Thanks for the Cracks!
