It seems that in my rescent posting of microEarthPlot that the data file was just too big for a lot of mailers. (I got a dozen or so messages requesting a repost.) I could break the data file into two parts and repost them, but I have a better idea (I think) - the original data file contained the coordinates in simple ascii text. By storing them in binary I can reduce the size by a factor of three. This requires a new program though to read this new smaller data file. STill, I think it'll be less network traffic to send a new program with a new data file that's one third the size of the original. (it also let's me correct a couple of silly little typos in the program). I'll probably get around to this by this weekend (it's a busy week). Unless anyone yells at me for this idea (reposting), I'll do it this weekend. -- michael
