I beleive July Does come from Julius. Most of the others come from the
names of gods. January comes fron Janus, the god of beginnings and endings,
March from Mars, god of war (March was once the beginnig of the year. Maybe
Julius Inserted January and February. ).
I think June comes from Juno, and I don't know about the others.
The Caesers were considered to become devine apon death, (perhaps
because of their large egos) so it was OK to name months after them,
but there was a shortage of months and the practice was discontinued.

A good dictionary should give derivations of all these words.
