*WARNING* As I indicated in an earlier article, my use of Central Point Software's Copy-to-Hard-Disk program, while copying to an Apple HD20, yielded some successes, some crashes (NOT disk, of course), and an eventual result of about 1 Megabyte missing from my disk (top level folder's GetInfo says x bytes in use; window shows (x - ~1Megabyte) available). I have talked to Central Point Software and, while they could not shed any light on the reason for the problem, or recommend a method of resolving it, they indicated that the current version (4.2?) does *NOT* support the HD20! Hence, use it at your own risk! They anticipate an HD20 compatible version in about one month. REQUEST: Speaking of HD20s, I find that all of my low-level programs, such as Fedit and ResEdit V 0.5 no longer work. I'd appreciate it if someone would post (or mail) me any later versions of such public domain software/shareware that might have a better chance of working with the HD20. ANSWER: A previous article wondered about the END-OD-FILE error received from BinHex V4 while converting RedRyder V7... As I recall, that was posted in two parts. It was necessary to get BOTH parts and, using an editor, append the BINHEX code into ONE file prior to using BinHex. Don't leave any blank lines or extraneous garbage between the sections! Have a nice day.
