Thelonius -- first name of Thelonius Sphere Monk (!), one of the leaders of the Bebop movement in Jazz along with others such as John Coltraine, Charlie Parker and Miles Davis. He was known as the High Priest of Bebop and noted for his unique piano style which would almost lead one to think he was ever playing wrong notes (early critics said he didn't know how to play), yet the combinations of the "wrong" notes makes a logic to his music. --Tom Slone
