Just got my tickets for the New Years show ( *GLOAT!* - I'm so happy I could scream - in fact, I did!). Included with it is a notice with some information. There *will* be a tapers section, but no special tickets required. Only one deck per person allowed. No mention of tripods etc. There are also some pretty heavy precautions about "loitering" in the concert area before or after the show. For instance, there will be no street vending of the usual array of t-shirts and Dead related artifacts. In San Francisco! Also, all future ticket sales will be first-come, first-served, based on *postmark* (regardless of when received). This is interesting. The post office no longer puts a time stamp on the mark, not even AM or PM. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't sell out on one days worth of mailings, so how do they decide?
