[net.micro.mac] apologies to Reed

nathan@orstcs.UUCP (nathan) (01/17/86)

The tide is ten to zero against me, and rising. I wish
to offer an apology to Reed College students, and to the net
as a whole. In addition, Scott Gillespie deserves a personal
apology. His efforts have certainly been an asset to the
community, and I did not intend any personal injury.

I would like to emphasize that my earlier comments in no
way represent a consensus of any particular group on the
net, "orstcs" especially. In the future I will confine myself
to constructive informational postings and leave traffic control
to traffic cops.

What an awesome sight.
A man with *alls enough to admit he was wrong.

What is this world comming to?

Thanks Nathan.

As one of the "ten and rising," I'm very glad to see this message.
It takes a certain amount of character to post such a response,
and it is a welcome departure from the usual tendency toward sulky
silence that ensues when one is shot down. Commendations, Nathan.
