*** REPLACE THIS BIT WITH YOUR BAUD *** Some various and sundry questions about Mac appls. First, does anybody know where to find that equation processor that was under discussion a couple of months ago? Second, how can i get MacTerminal to stop saying there's no modem connected? It complains but goes ahead and completes dialing anyway. Do i have to carry DTR, CTS, etc. to the modem? Right now i'm just using ground, transmit and receive. Finally, has anyone written something that will let the user rearrange the order of DA's, either alphabetically or user specified. olson@harvard posted a message two weeks ago telling how to do it with the Resource Editor, but it seemed rather cumbersome. I heard that Hertzfeld wrote such a beast (rumor rumor rumor). -- "If Chaos himself sat umpire, what better could he do?" > *** REPLACE THIS BIT WITH YOUR BAUD *** Yes, the program written to alphabetise DAs is 'ALPHADA', it runs as the startup program on a bootable disk, then exits to minfinder (if there)\ or Finder.&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&ZZ > > Some various and sundry questions about Mac appls. > > First, does anybody know where to find that equation processor > that was under discussion a couple of months ago? > > Second, how can i get MacTerminal to stop saying there's no modem > connected?
