[net.micro.mac] macput/macget...

ward@hao.UUCP (Mike Ward) (03/17/85)

[]
I mistakenly posted an antique version of Macput & Macget source
to net.sources.mac. These will not work with any mac application
created since the flood.

Please do not use them.

Please pardon the error.

A while back, an incorrect version of macput/macget was posted on
net.sources.mac. No correct version has been put up. Could someone please
post a correct version seeing as some of us still don't have it.

Does anyone know if there is a version of macput/macget available that
is compatible with Macterminal 2.0? If so, where can I get it? My
version works with -0.15x and 0.5, but it doesn't seem to work with
any 1+ versions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

To use macput/macget with MacTerminal 2.0, select a transfer type
of "MacTerminal 1.1" from the Transfer dialog. If you're just
transferring data files (not regular Mac files), then select
"xmodem" or "xmodem text" and use umodem on the Unix end.
