[net.micro.mac] MultiTask Print DA explained

Not long ago I posted a query to the net, asking for someone
to explain how the DA called "MultiTask Print" was supposed to
work. The answer was E-mailed to me:

From: haj1 (Greg Hajek)
|It only prints TEXT documents, so MacWrite and Word files are right
|out of the picture. It only prints in draft mode. Essentially, what
|it does is send data until the Imagewriter buffer fills up, [then does
|processing on the current application,] and then shoots
|off another bundle of text, thus alleviating the syndrome of having the
|computer sitting around waiting for printer finish its business when there
|is nothing else (such as font compression, etc.) to be done.

Since I tied up the net with a request that was answered by a user
on my own machine [!] I offer to make amends by e-mailing this
little ditty to all askers. I don't know if it's 'shareware' or
not; I still haven't used it and probably won't. But I will
mail it, and hope that, given moderate demand, that recipients
will post it to their local Mac boards.

Yours etc.,--
