I have been listening to the discussions on several Bulletin Boards, here on the net and in INFO-MAC, about the new ROMs and new disk drives. What I've been able to pick up is that software that "follows Apple's Guidelines" should work with HFS and new Quickdraw. All very well and good, but if I get the upgrade of the ROMs and drive, what programs will and won't run? What won't run because of HFS? What won't run because copy protection plays with disk speed? (I doubt this will be a big problem, companies can change the copy protection without rewriting the software, right?) If people want to mail me with programs that will/won't run on a MacPlus (please! Only things that you have tried yourself and SEEN run or SEEN fail), I will try to compile a list for posting.
