[net.micro.mac] Apple SCSI Hard Disk

rjs@trwrba.UUCP (Robert J. Suyehara) (03/04/86)

According to the March 3rd Infoworld, Apple is close to
introducing a hard disk which will connenct to the SCSI
port of the Mac Plus and the next generation Apple //.

The disk will supposedly be six or seven times faster
than the current Apple Hard Disk 20. The new disk should
be coming from Apple "in the next few months."

When Apple introduces its new hard disk, independent
developers will likely lower prices of their own SCSI port
drives.

No prices were given.

Standard disclaimers apply.

also, it seems that that hard disk will be supported by the new //x or
whatever you want to call it.
