A few weeks ago there was a posting on net.micro.mac which alluded to being able to enter a CMD/F from MacDraw and produce a PostScript output file. If I recall, there was also a later message saying that this was applicable to ALL Mac applications, not just MacDraw. Has anyone gotten this to work? I've tried it, and always get the 'Looking for Laserwriter' message, followed by a timeout. I've tried it both with and without the Laserwriter plugged in, and haven't yet been able to produce an output file. My procedure is to use the choose printer DA to select the Laserwriter (it isn't connected, so I click on the blank space below the Imagewriter), select print from the menu, click OK in the (Laserwriter) print box, then type CMD/F. I've also tried CMD/F before clicking in the OK box, but still no file produced. My system is a 512K/Hyper 20, running Finder 4.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Ken Bates uucp : decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-bison!bates arpa : bates%bison.dec@decwrl cis : 70047,1226 delphi: KBATES enet : BISON::BATES
