The latest version of ResEdit is 1.0D5, and it IS HFS compatible. I don't yet understand Apple's policy on "system software" distribution, since it is (I believe) available to copy off of Compuserve but is restricted from things like Usenet. Can ANYBODY clarify this? Jeff
