[net.micro.mac] True Basic Demo Distribution

diamond@andromeda.UUCP (Robert Diamond) (03/08/86)

I just got my free copy of the demonstration system of TRUE BASIC from
TRUE BASIC INC., HANOVER, NH. Does anyone know if I can (legally) give
copies to interested people? I'm sure there's some people in my MUG that
would be interested in it.

Well....if it's any help....I just saw True Basic for the mac on the shelves at
a local software shop. I wouldn't think it's legal that you can give it out.

My copy of the disk clearly says "COPY THIS DISK!" on it. I would think
this means you can give away as many copies as you want. However,
why not give people the address for getting the demo package? It comes
with a very nice set of documentation.

He is talking about giving out the demo version, not the real version.
