I've just received the latest copy of Slide Show Magician, V1.3 (which allows you to present VERY professional slide shows using MacPaint documents). An unexpected goodie is that they have incorporated sound digitization, but to DO the digitizing, you are supposed to purchase a $90 cable from them. Since they clearly indicate that all of the software is there and all you need is the cable to, I assume, connect the audio source to the appropriate pins on the printer or modem connector, $90 SEEMS a bit steep. Does anyone have any knowledge of what I need to do to build this cable, or if it does contain any active parts? Thanks, Jeff
