Hello out there can you heare me? No i have got the new mac+ sound driver. WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEN THE OLD SOUNDDRIVER AND MAC+ SOUNDDRIVER ?????? Crazy things happen when trying to run old programs, whith sound effects, whith the my mac+. Sometimes there is no sound, sometimes it bombs, sometimes there is a long interval after sound generetion when the mac freezes, sometimes it starts humming a.s.o. Examples: 1 The demo program MacMusic where you can store and play simple melodies whith a keyBoard freezes the mac for some seconds after each note. 2 I have written a program in SUMacC that uses the Free Form Syntheziser which plays melodies. If the melodie is longer than about 10 seconds the mac+ starts humming. If i try to generate an other sound it stops. But otherwise the mac works fine. If i try to change sound volume in the control panel the menu bar flashes as if the volume is zero but the humming sound changes its volume. Any hints would be appreciatet Roland Karlsson
