I am posting this for co-worders. Allen Cole ihnp4!utah-cs!cole After hearing about potentially serious bugs in earlier versions of the System File (e.g. version 3.0), we put together a quicky little program to show the current system version. Everyone knows System 3.0 has bugs. But where do you get a new version?
A bunch of Cognition employees got together and bought dozens of
Mac Pluses. Of course, they all came with System 3.0 and Finder 5.1.
I understand that the newest System and Finder were included with
the "December" software supplement, but I didn't see them posted on
Compuserve... is there a legal problem with posting them to the Net?
