[net.misc] OCCAM competition for ADA?

trb (12/01/82)

A pal of mine told me that there is a group in England working on a
language called OCCAM. He says it's a simple approach to a language
for Everyman, competition for ADA. Is this just a cute joke? I hope
not.

Note: OCCAM (if it exists) is named after "Occam's razor", a rule
which states that given two theories (solutions, etc.) which bear the
same result, one should accept the simpler. (The jab at ADA should be
clear.)

Mail info to me, I'll post.
