[net.micro.mac] Option Shortcuts...

There is nothing wrong with Option-shortcuts (and that genere).  As others
have indicated they DO, indeed provide faster ways of doing things.

However, one of the GREAT things about that Mac is that you (typically)
DON'T have to do "...information swapping..." about program functionality;
the capabilities are THERE, typically in the Menus.

So, if we like Option-shortcuts, but want to maintain the essentially self-
documenting nature of Mac applications, WHY NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM BY JUST
DOCUMENTING **ALL** NON-OBVIOUS COMMANDS IN SOME HELP SCREEN (perhaps
as simple as in the About... menu?

It's that simple; Option-shortcuts for all who want them, and no need to
do IBM-like things such has carrying around "command-cards".
