[net.micro.mac] HP SS-disks in DS drives

To anyone who has, or is planning on upgrading to the double sided
drives for the mac. BEWARE. If you still have any of the old
single-sided Hewlett-Packard disks with the "pinch-lock" feature (ie.
you can stick the disk door in the open position), copy their
contents onto newer style disks. I found out the hard way that the
new drives open the disk doors just far enough to have the door catch
in the open position (the old SS drives did not). Unfortunately, then
the drive CANNOT eject the disk, and the paper clip won't get it out
either. Poor Mac just unmounts and mounts the volume every time you
   try to eject the disk.

In short the only way to get the disk out again was to tear the drive
apart (not a task for the squeamish) and stick implements of
destruction inside to activate the pinch lock on the disk so its door
would close (Fortunately happened on my external drive.).
