The source code printed in Numerical Recipes - The Art of Scientific Computing is now available for the Mac in Pascal (no version given) for $39 from: Numerical Recipes Software PO Box 243 Cambridge, MA. 02238 They also have an experimental copy of the code in Fortran (Microsoft V3.20 IBM PC version) on a Mac disk for those who may want to try it - also for $39. For those of you who do anything numerical with any computer the book is highly recommended - easily the best single volume numerical analysis book I've ever seen. Routines are given in both F77 and Pascal with a future edition of the book planned in C (although that will be some time away). I have not tried either of the Mac disks, but have used much of the book and think that you wouldn't be disappointed! With the Mac evolving towards a reasonable number cruncher (the Levco and HyperDrive 68881 options) the machine may be of more use to those of us in Science and Engineering than it has been.
