When I tried to put the "programmer's switch" in my brand-new Mac+, it didn't do anything. It snaps into place, but neither of the switches can be pressed. Anyone have any idea what the problem is? Something similar to this happend with my old 512k mac, except that the problem was the actuall reset switch on the board was too close to the side of the mac, and was continually activated by the mere presence of the switch. I don't think the same thing is happening. The new machine is wonderfull. I didn't realize how great the speed difference is between the old models and the +'s is. Makes a huge difference. Only drawback is that I have only one drive (plus a huge ramdisk). Incidently, I sold my old system (512, external drive, printer, carrying case, some disks) for $1700 and bought the plus for $1600. This is probably the best way to get an "upgrade" if you can find someone to buy you're old machine. Does anyone know if TML Pascal supports HFS? I want to get a copy, but not if I have to keep everything on the desktop... James
