I seem to remember someone else on the net having problems with Capt Magneto. When I open the Cap'n Magneto application, the screen goes blank with noise streaks across it, no sound comes from the speaker, the pointer turns to the watch, and everything is locked except the pointer/mouse movement. Were there any patches sent to fix this problem? Someone else did have this problem, how did they fix it?

I had the same problem with a copy downloaded by an associate. During the download process, some of the names were slightly changed. It seems that Cap'n does not check for failure on some of his I/O. You end up getting trash on your screen. My Mac seemed wedged until I invoked the crash-saver. Try peeking at the documents that come with CM. One gives the names of all files included in the posting. Adjust names accordingly.
