[net.micro.mac] Graphics Help Needed

Does anyone know of software that would allow me to program the bit mapped
image (i.e., put dots anywhere it would suit my fancy) and then print the
result out?  This would probably amount to a program generating the
equivalent of MacPaint/Draw images.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
