Has anybody out there used MacScheme? I would welcome some sort of capsule review/description re: completeness of implementation, robustness, documentation, pricing info, et cetera. Especially wonderful would be some sort of academic discount (all my CS classes are taught in a Yale dialect of Scheme called "T"). Mucho thanks, :- Ben. -- ======= : Ben : ..!decvax!yale!goetter goetter@yale-comix.ARPA ("We are not in the Eighth Dimension. We are over New Jersey.")

From: Henry.Kautz I would like to hear from users of MacScheme. Specifically: 1. What documentation is included? 2. Is the language close enough to Common Lisp, to use Steele's Common Lisp book as a reference? 3. What facilities are provided for object-oriented programming? Is there an inheritance mechanism? Please reply by mail. ---- Henry Kautz :uucp: {seismo|allegra}!rochester!henry :arpa: henry@rochester :mail: Dept. of Computer Science, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY 14627 :phone: (716) 275-5766
