What are the pros and cons of upgrading to the MacPlus?
(From a vanilla 512K Mac, no nonstandard memory, no internal
hard disks or anything bizarre.)
I've read the MacUser cover stories (both of them) on
the upgrade, but I'm still wary of getting it. Are my fears
groundless? Is there no downside to the upgrade but cost?
I only use my mac to (a) balance my checkbook with Dol-
lars & Sense, (b) write (personal, non-merge) letters with
MS-Word, (c) goof around with MacPaint and Concertware+.
Do I get my money's worth if I go for the upgrade?
All of you people who've done the upgrade (found dealers
who've got the ugrade to sell, that is :-) please reply via
mail (unless you think it's important) and if there is
sufficient response I will summarize to the net. Thanks.
